Species studied
The EABRG principally studies fish, including both indigenous species to the UK and so-called laboratory models, such the zebrafish and fathead minnow.
In our studies investigating for impacts of chemicals discharged into the aquatic environment on native UK wildlife populations we also study birds (e.g. the dipper Cinclus cinclus) and mammals (otter Lutra lutra) – animals that eat fish.
