Techniques/Expertise in the EABRG
The integrative nature of our research means that we employ a wide range of experimental techniques and methodologies in our research including; gene cloning, qRT-PCR, development and application of DNA arrays, metabolomics, in situ hybridisations, gene manipulation, transgenics, development and application of DNA microsatellites, a wide array of physiology techniques, surgical techniques, histopathology, immunoassays, cell cultures (yeast and primary hepatocytes), laboratory exposures of fish to toxicants (including long term exposures), mesocosm studies, field studies.
