Welcome to the Guild of Devonshire Ringers website. These web pages contain information relating to the method ringing towers in Devon.

Please use the clickable map above and the links on the left to navigate around the site. Clicking on the branch map link or logo at any point will return you to this page.

The Guild of Devonshire Ringers is divided into 7 regional districts as shown by the map above. The Exeter Colleges Guild is also affiliated to the Devon Guild. Additionally the informal groups Devon Young Ringers and the Plymouth Youths organise their own events and meet regularly.

The Devon Association of Ringers covers towers which are mainly concerned with ringing call changes. Some towers are affiliated to both the Guild and Association. See the Full Devon Tower List for further information or the Guild Tower List for Guild towers. A book containing a list of all Devon Towers, The Bells of Devon Directory, can also be purchased.

The Guild is responsible for the Frank Mack Portable Garage Ring. They are used for training and publicity purposes and are housed in Kingsteignton. There is also some information on the book written by John Scott, "The Towers and Bells of Devon", including the addenda data sheets kept up to date by James Clarke.

A list of useful documents for members (rules, gift aid forms, child protection policy etc) is available.

The Devon Church Bell Restoration Fund (DCBRF) is a registered charity which exists to help finance bell restoration work within Devon.
