Here are the results of the
Photography Competition that had the theme 'Looking Up'. As usual many
excellent photos were submitted with some very interesting and
imaginative ideas for 'Looking Up'. The top three photos were:
Umbrellas, LIsbon by Gill Parker with 25 votes
Cat looking Up also by Paul Sandy with 21 votes.
This result has provided me with a dilemma since Paul potentially wins both the first and the third prize. I have made an executive decision to award the third prize to 'Look Up' which is of a dog rather than a cat looking up and which got 16 votes and was taken by Sue Milward.
Book tokens to the value of £20 for first, £10 for second and £5 for third (well, fourth really!) will soon be sent to the prize winners.

Forthcoming Events
The theme for the next competition is 'Transport' which was suggested by Gill Parker. Please send me one or two photographs with 'Transport' as the theme by Sunday 4th October.
