Dear All,

The cost of wines is going up so it looks as though, despite UERSA's contribution to the cost of the church hire, an increase in the fee for the tasting may be unavoidable. One other way of boosting income is to increase the numbers attending, so do remember you can invite a friend along to any tasting for the same price per head.

Dear All,

I am sure everyone who attended enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting at Majestic last evening. All credit to the team at Majestic in particular James who did the wine selection and lead us though it all and Nicole for supporting him. Thank you all so much.

The New World versus the Old world debate got us all on our tasting toes. I think it ended being fairly even honours. The Crémant de Bourgogne was extremely good value and a clear winner in the fizz category. All 14 wines were well received. To top it off we were given a final treat of a Vin Santo desert wine.
