Thursday 19th March

A group of eleven of us tasted some unusual Spanish wines at Majestic last evening. Nicole put together a really interesting selection of wines from lesser known Spanish areas and grapes as well as adding a lovely recently arrived Rioja. The red selection was outstanding with amazing value wines. My favourite red was the Condado de Oriza at £14.50 a bottle.

Once again very many thanks to Nicole and the Majestic team for putting this all together for us and making it a very enjoyable evening.

Dear All,

Judging by the feed back I think this was one of the most interesting tastings to date. Rebecca put together a great collection of 7 wines for us. Many different grapes and wine regions of France.  Many thanks again to Rebecca for expertly leading us through the selection and help train our palettes.

Perhaps we can persuade Rebecca to do a "Hidden Gems" part 2 at the beginning of November. I will be in contact once I hear back from Rebecca about her wine tasting event and some other possibilities for the New Year.
